• 1 length of the pool of freestyle and demonstrates side breathing
• 1 length of the pool backstroke without going vertical while off the wall

Day 1 will be a Test Day. Swimmers will be required to be able to get into the water (on their own) and wait on the wall until prompted to swim what is asked from the coach. Swimmers unable to perform the requirements or unable to follow directions while in the water will be asked to get out of the pool and parents will be notified. Refunds for failed swim tests will need to be requested by 11:59pm on June 15th, 2025. Please e-mail kacyota@cusd.com for a refund (Any request received after 11:59pm on June 15th, 2025 will be denied)

Swimmers must be between the ages of 5-16 as of June 12, 2025 to participate.

Swimmers can be tested after Day one, but no refunds will be available for a failed test given after June 15th. (Please be sure that they can perform the pre-requisites if you are going to miss the first two days of practice).
